This yearâs theme of âSettlers and Soldiersâ was intended to build on the heritage of our greater community. This past December-January marked the 175th anniversary of the 1846-47 Mormon Battalion march through this valley.Â

The annual 1880s Historic Grand Ball is a popular event for all ages, with live music provided by the 4th Cavalry Regimental Band of Ft. Lowell, Arizona Territory. The drawing for the 2021 Heritage Quilt will happen just before the fireworks on the evening of July 24. Need not be present to win.

Authentic 19th Century music, clear dance instruction, historic flags, period dress and refreshments all come together for a truly unforgettable experience for all ages.
